    Some time last winter, I realized that I hadn’t been out shooting in months. For any number of reasons, I hadn’t even picked up my camera in months. I’m a photographer, isn’t that against the law or something? At the time, we were in a deep freeze here in Chicago so I didn’t relish the idea of shooting outside. Instead, I opted to go the Lightbox route and bring Spring to our home early by doing a series of macro photographs of flowers.     photo of the week: “in search of squirrel”

    My obsession with pops of color and CTA trains is evident in most of my Chicago train imagery; give me a pop of teal blue and I’m over the moon. Add in the unexpected twist of a moose in the middle of this crazy town and, well, I can’t resist. My photo of the week, “In Search of Squirrel,” is also one of my favorites. Shot in the South Loop of Chicago, in the Wabash Arts Corridor, this was a delightful photograph to shoot.
