Have you met Tilde? She can help you make some pretty cool geometric designs in Adobe Illustrator. Add the Shift and/or Alt keys, change directions, try different shapes... mix it up!
Brand new (super quick) tutorial up on my YouTube channel. Learn how to quickly generate a color palette in Adobe Illustrator for Desktop and save it to your Creative Cloud library for use in all of your Adobe apps. Find the link in my bio!
Putting together a series of short Illustrator tutorials about all things masking to create this final illustration. To be continued... 💕
A day of recording under the belt. My Birds & Bird Houses in Affinity Designer class is taking forever and a day to record but I promise it will be worth it. (Sleeping cat not included) 🐦 Happy Weekend everyone!
Rarrrrrr.... ok you have to picture the MGM lion from back in the day (for those who are old enough to have existed in “back in the day” of course)
Random Stuff You Find When You Clean One of Your Camera Drawers But Don’t Remember Buying #1 (a sign that you may have a problem 🤔). Macro lens set for your iPhone which is remarkably not bad for a cheapie “lens”. Now to go bug the cats... 📸
Expecting more snow this weekend, on top of the 2,000 inches we already have on the ground. So I’m just going to continue creating my own Spring. Created in #AffinityDesigner for iPad.
Counting the days until 1. The 50,000 inches of snow sitting on the ground here are gone and 2. It gets above ten degrees. In the meantime, I created a quick Spring illustration using the methods I teach in my Skillshare class, “Textured Florals in Affinity Designer for iPad” Link is in my bio.
Hello little Variegated Fairy Wren. Nice to meet you. (Created in Affinity Designer for iPad)
Ok so I know I’m supposed to be finishing this class but I might be having a bit of fun making the graphics for it 🤔 This will end up being the title page to the new Skillshare class! Bird illustrated in Affinity Designer and the rest in After Effects. Happy weekend everyone!
Very excited to be getting ready to release my next class, available very soon! This will be a class series, starting with the basics of creating a textural bird and bird house as well as the background elements, in Affinity Designer. Shorter follow up classes will be posted after that focusing on one bird species and a new setting. Here’s a sneak peek at what you will learn! See you soon!
It’s been a long week of a lot of snow here in the Chicago area so it’s nice to be reminded of trips where none could be found. Heading off to a new home Australia, in a beautiful 24x36 inch Lustre print, one of my first Paris photographs, “Pensive.” Find this and many more Paris photographs in my online print shop.
