Allergies aside(sniffle), this is one of my most favorite times of the year. My start was as a nature photographer and that is where my heart will always be, no matter what else I explore. The ranunculus is one of my favorite flowers (I have many if I’m being honest) and capturing them close up only makes me love them more.

Today I decided to step away from class prep and do something for me. Baking or cooking is my usual go to when I just need a break so today… bagels. If there is ever a more perfect bread product than bagels, I don’t know what it is. So, behold… poppy seed, minced garlic and everything bagels.
We have a monthly prompt up on the Creator Collage of “Spring Renewal” and this is my first take on it. Created in Affinity Designer for desktop.

In this class, I’ll show you several ways to hack the process using built in (and truly awesome) tools in the ENTIRE Affinity Suite, both iPad and desktop. Plus, I get to introduce you to one of my favorite time savers, MACROS, in Affinity Photo, and I’ll show you how to create and use macros that can speed up the pattern making process. This is one of the many hacks shown in the class!
