Welcome to this week’s tutorial! So happy to have you here.
Below you’ll find the downloads that I’ll be using in my Retro Rocket Ship YouTube tutorial where we will create this retro-inspired space scene in Procreate 5x.
The Retro Rocket Brush Set
To load the brush set:
When you click the above link, the brush set file will automatically download to your iPad (directly to Downloads if you don’t have the Dropbox app and to the Dropbox app if you do).
If you’re accessing from the downloads folder, click on the file and the brushes will automatically load in to Procreate.
From Dropbox, click the three dots next to the name of the set, select Export and scroll until you find the Procreate icon. Click the icon and the brushes will import to your brush studio. (see the video below)
The Retro Rocket Color Palette
Follow the same instructions as those for the brushes above and you’re all set!
The Retro Rocket Textures
I’ve created some gritty, grungy texture png files that we’ll use to add some fun texture to our illustration. Just click the link to download them somewhere you can access them from within Procreate. (I’ll show you how to use them in the tutorial!)
Once you have your downloads all taken care of, head back over to the tutorial here and let’s have some fun creating a retro inspired space illustration!
